Letras Galegas' Day

This Friday 17^th will be an important day for galician people because this date remember us the fight for our rigths and our language.

This celebration is a credit to Rosalia de Castro who wrote a book called “Cantares Gallegos” in this day, that mark the beginning of the “Rexurdimento”.

The first people who had this honor were Rosalia de Castro, Castelao, Eduardo Pondal, Francisco Añon Paz and Manuel Curros Enríquez.

This year the lucky winner is Roberto Vidal Bolaño, one writer known for works like “A burla do galo”.

We celebrate it with some activities related with this beautiful day for Galicia.
